Mrs Cobb was out for much of the day attending a meeting at Chiddingly school.
Mr Thorn attended a special forum on the LEA's plans for provision for children with special needs, held at the Boship Hotel.
The cricket team travelled to Cradle Hill, Seaford, to play a 20-over game in the Caffyns Knockout competition. Put in to bat first, they scored 88 for 6 off the full 20 overs. Cradle Hill were all out for 75 in their final over. Hawkes Farm won by 13 runs. They play Little Common in the next round.
