The day began with a whole school assembly in which Miss Jones, who willbecome Mrs Sullivan in the summer, was presented with a wedding gift, and goodbye presentations were made to Miss Marriott (leaving to teach in Singapore); Mrs Weeden (retiring); Mrs Jackson (becoming a PE adviser); Mr Seymour (becoming ICT Manager in another school); and Mr Hind (moving on to become Deputy Head of Hellingly Primary).
Year 6 children spent the day getting their shirts signed in the traditional manner.
Mr Thorn's Book Group had a lunchtime party.
