This afternoon the school football team won the local tournament yet again. They qualified for the final in a penalty shootout against Grovelands, and then beat Herstmonceux 1 - 0.
Yesterday afternoo, four children in Year 6 competed against teams from other local primary school in the annual Rotary Quiz. It was Hawkes Farm's turn to the host the event and our team came equal second.
The school is open late this evening to allow parents to attend the Parent Evening meetings with classteachers postponed from last week.
