The subject of today's staff meeting was writing assessment. It was led by Jan McLean, who had led the previous literacy staff meeting on spelling two weeks ago.
During the meeting there was a heavy storm with overhead thunder and lightning.
Mr R Fuller is spending the week in school, prior to embarking on a PGCE course in the autumn.
The swimming pool was closed on Friday and has not yet reopened.
